The following is a Remembrance Poem in Honor of Bobby Landau
written by his Son, Rob;

"Bravest Heart"

~This poem is dedicated to my Father, Robert A. Landau and
those who serve and protect everywhere~

I chose to be a Firefighter
It's my duty and my call.
I will serve no matter what the risk,
In a crisis great or small.

Preserving life and property from dangers
breathless threat,
No matter what the time or cause,
I respond with no regret.

The thin red line of courage
is a symbol that reflects.
The depth of strength to conquer fear,
our commitment and respect

The alarm sounds off, the race begins
days end is unbeknown.
Though focused on the work at hand,
My heart is back at home.

As a Firefighter I know
I'm not in this all alone.
You stand with me by my side,
And pray my safety home.

I give to you this special gift
A heart for us to share,
Holding precious words of Love
For days so hard to bear.

Every moment of everyday
In my heart you will always be.
We'll never be far apart,
You have a piece of me.

You have done your best, with little rest
Your legacy now standing tall.
Now it's your time to rest in peace,
You've answered your last call.

WE SHALL NEVER FORGET...
The following is a poem written by  Bob Landau's son, Robert.

"TWO STEEL BEAMS"

Two Steel Beams
Formed into a Cross
A symbol of our Faith, our Strength,
To ones we lost.

Remember our Brothers, our Mothers,
Our Husbands and Wives,
Remember not their passing
But the living of their lives.

Love can never be destroyed, or ruined
By the Devil's hand,
For Love is undying, immortal
And part of God's plan.

Our Finest and Bravest
Gave their own lives
To make sure the future was seen
Through their children's eyes.

To everyone who suffered a loss
On that fateful September day,
This is dedicated to them
Although words are hard to say.

We mourn them, we honor them,
And will always miss being apart
But nothing can ever take the love
We will always feel for them, and remain inside our hearts.
